The Showfou GP type submersible sewage grinder pump, known as macerator submersible pump or cutter pump, has built-in the advanced integrated grinding mechanism which is particularly well-suited for use with liquids that may contain filaments, plastic bags, long fibers, rubber material, etc.
The grinding mechanism is composed of a fixed shredder ring and a rotating grinder made by hard Chromium-Molybdenum alloy steel “SCM440” that is highly resistant to the abrasion. There are 27 cutting edges on the fixed part. Then the two poles high torque motor will provide more than 80,000 shredding actions every minute to perform an optimum shredding performance to reduces waste content to fine slurry, pumped through small-diameter pipes..
The submersible sewage grinder pump type GP is specially designed for pumping untreated wastewater from domestic, commercial or municipal sources. The high discharge pressure enables transfer of wastewater over longer distances.
Construction on the GP type sewage grinder pump is heavy duty cast iron and Stainless Steel. The GP type sewage grinder pumps are free standing or can be mounted on guide rails for use in packaged pumping stations.

The GPA type sewage grinder pump with float switch for automatic operation is also available.
